General promotion terms
- Promotions are available while stocks or installation slots last, and may be withdrawn or amended at any time before a customer completes sign-up.
- Promotional pricing applies only for the period stated on the specific promotion; standard pricing resumes automatically afterwards unless stated otherwise.
- Promotions cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
- Somangaye reserves the right to verify eligibility (for example, new-customer-only offers) before honouring a promotional rate.
1. Home Internet Gold and Platinum Router Promotion
This promotional offer commences on 5 August 2025 and is available for a limited period. Somangaye Internet reserves the right to amend, suspend, extend, or terminate this promotion at any time, at its sole discretion.
Customers who purchase a qualifying Somangaye Internet Home Internet service during the promotional period will receive a free-to-use router, subject to the terms of the Free-to-Use Router Policy.
A once-off delivery fee of R250.00 will be charged for the delivery of the SIM card (where applicable) and the router.
Eligible customers will receive the advertised promotional monthly subscription fee for the duration of the promotion or for the period specified in the applicable product offering.
Where reasonably practicable, Somangaye Internet will endeavour to provide customers with at least one (1) calendar month's notice before the promotional pricing is withdrawn or amended. Upon expiry or termination of the promotion, the affected service will automatically revert to Somangaye Internet's standard monthly pricing applicable at that time, unless otherwise communicated.
This promotion is subject to availability and may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer unless expressly stated by Somangaye Internet. Somangaye Internet reserves the right to decline, withdraw, or cancel the promotion where fraud, abuse, or any breach of these Terms and Conditions is suspected.

Customers may upgrade or downgrade their Home Internet service only between the qualifying Max and Max+ service packages, subject to product availability and the applicable pricing at the time the request is processed.
A minimum of one (1) full calendar month's written notice is required to cancel the service. For the purposes of this policy, a calendar month is defined as the period from the 1st day to the last day of a calendar month. Accordingly, the requested cancellation date must fall at the end of the calendar month following the month in which the cancellation request was received.
Where a service includes a free-to-use router, customers may, upon cancellation of the service, either:
- Purchase the router at the applicable replacement value; or
- Return the router to Somangaye Internet in accordance with the Free-to-Use Router Policy.
The router must be returned to Somangaye Internet within 21 (twenty-one) days from the effective cancellation date. If the router is not returned within this period, a replacement fee of R3,999.00 will be charged to the customer's account.
Should the customer's account fall into arrears and the service be terminated as a result of non-payment, the free-to-use router remains the property of Somangaye Internet and must be returned within 7 (seven) days of the termination date. Failure to return the router within this period will result in a replacement charge of R3,999.00 being billed to the customer's account.
2. Home Internet Gold & Platinum - Sim Only Promotion
This promotional offer commences on 5 August 2025 and is available for a limited period. Somangaye Internet reserves the right to amend, suspend, extend, or terminate this promotion at any time, at its sole discretion.
Eligible customers will receive the advertised promotional monthly subscription fee for the duration of the promotion or for the period specified in the applicable product offering.
Where reasonably practicable, Somangaye Internet will endeavour to provide customers with at least one (1) calendar month's notice before the promotional pricing is withdrawn or amended. Upon expiry or termination of the promotion, the affected service will automatically revert to Somangaye Internet's standard monthly pricing applicable at that time, unless otherwise communicated.
As part of this promotion, delivery of the SIM card is provided free of charge. This offer applies only to the initial delivery of the SIM card associated with the qualifying promotional service. Any replacement SIM cards or additional deliveries requested after activation may be subject to Somangaye Internet's standard delivery and administration fees.
This promotion is subject to availability and may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer unless expressly stated by Somangaye Internet. Somangaye Internet reserves the right to decline, withdraw, or cancel the promotion where fraud, abuse, or any breach of these Terms and Conditions is suspected.

Any outstanding amounts owing will remain payable by the customer notwithstanding the suspension or termination of the service.
3. Home Internet Bronze, Copper & Silver - Sim Only Promotion
This promotional offer commences on 5 August 2025 and is available for a limited period. Somangaye Internet reserves the right to amend, suspend, extend, or terminate this promotion at any time, at its sole discretion.
Eligible customers will receive the advertised promotional monthly subscription fee for the duration of the promotion or for the period specified in the applicable product offering.
Where reasonably practicable, Somangaye Internet will endeavour to provide customers with at least one (1) calendar month's notice before the promotional pricing is withdrawn or amended. Upon expiry or termination of the promotion, the affected service will automatically revert to Somangaye Internet's standard monthly pricing applicable at that time, unless otherwise communicated.
